Let me build your custom knife for you. Custom orders will be priced based on design and materials. All knives are made using traditional blacksmith techniques; Hardened, Tempered, and Sharpened. All knives are custom-made to order. Overall knife measurements may vary some due to the nature of hand forging material. Single twist Railroad spike knives: Starting at $85.00 Custom Railroad knives in Gator Twist, Rope Twist, and Double Rope Twist handle. in both standard drop point and Viking Seax blades. Starting at $105.00 Railroad Spike Knives are a great collector and novelty items, as well as a functional tool/weapon. RR Spikes possess lower carbon than other metals. To keep a quality edge, that will hold up to extended use, you will need to re-sharpening with regular use. Please be aware of local and state laws in your area as they pertain to fixed blade knives. I was raised by a man who did not know the word can't. He was a small businessman who always had to build or make what he needed to get through the day. He was a blacksmith, fabricator, mechanic and overall jack of all trades.
I am my father's son ;) I' am that guy who can not sit still. I am going from the time I get up until I go to bed. I am that guy who has always worked more than one job at a time, and sometimes up to 3.
With age, comes some wisdom, and also the need to slow down. I decided to stop working so many jobs and began doing things that I enjoy, and being a blacksmith is one of them! I have a newly built gas forge and a workable anvil. This then gives me the opportunity to spend my time being creative.
I am a currently a part-time smithy. I hope that you love everything I have designed and created by hand, and decide to place an order! You can trust I will back up all of my work, and get it out to you in a timely manner.
