Floating Top Dining Table
This solid walnut top floats over a sturdy walnut base. The top has two dovetail grooves in which rails are friction fit. The grooves in the top are capped with brass inlays to add a subtle detail that hints toward the construction methods used to build the table. This table can be made with any wood and metal combination subject to availability.

My name is Thomas Matter, I'm a trained engineer turned woodworker. I apply all of my knowledge and meticulous attention to detail to creating heirloom quality pieces that meet my clients needs and demands from both and engineering and design point of view.
