Walnut Hall Table, Rustic Modern. The Mendota
This Hall Table, Entry Table, Will add style and a unique flavor to your home. This table is uniquely designed and custom built. The Mendota table uses tension from the legs to support both walnut shelves. The legs are made from available materials such as Oak, American Chestnut or Southern Pine. Each solid walnut shelf is finely finished with a all natural hand rubbed oil. The materials for The Mendota Hall Table are locally sourced in Virginia and milled here in our shop to give our customers a taste of our southern style. Some lumber is old growth and some is reclaimed from old structures. Mendota Hall Table Measures 48"wide, 14" deep at legs, 29.5" tall at top shelf

I am thankful for the opportunity that God has given me to touch each piece of furniture I build. I am forever indebted to those around me that appreciate the craftsmanship and work that goes into building any of my handcrafted projects.
I am a Jack of All trades kind of guy. I am rarely defeated by any task. I am a Veteran and I have had vastly different types of careers including construction, real estate, running my own retail store, digital marketing and television production. The heart of each one of my past ventures has been creativity and the ability to build strong lasting relationships with others.
Goose Creek Woodworking is an idea that has been forged from my past. I discovered the art of working with wood at a very young age watching my grandfather and father complete projects and do side carpentry jobs for friends and family I was never far from their side. In my adult years I have remodeled several houses out of necessity and always felt the urge to put my own stamp and style on each project. I looked forward to the days when I could create my own furniture in the styles I liked I wanted the satisfaction of eating dinner with my family at a table I had crafted from sawmill lumber. A table designed specifically for the space it was placed in. I dabbled in woodworking since I was a kid but I began doing some serious woodworking in early 2016.
Now with the support of my wife Amy, and my two children, Alister and Lenore I am able to provide you with top quality handcrafted furniture in a timeless simple design that will stand the test of time.
