Heavy Duty Rustic Industrial Stool
Presenting from the Railcar Flooring Collection by Dirty Metal Secrets, Heavy Duty Stools with Century old Railcar Oak Flooring Seats and Back Rest. These Stools are Fabricated from 1" 11Ga. Mild Steel frame and 2.25" Thick oak Seats. These Reclaimed Seats have Character that took years of daily use to create. Wood will show imperfections that give it its unique style. No 2 Seats will be identical. Seats and Back rests may have scrapes, nails, holes, cracks, etc. Finish on Steel base is a Clear finish on Bare Mill Scale Steel and a Poly finish on Mildly stained Oak. Everything and anything can be customized to your liking (Finish, Paint, Leg ends, Height, etc.)

I've been getting my hands dirty with metal for over 30 years. Everything is custom handmade by ONLY me (no employees or crew. just me). I have 10 years of experience woking with wood. I have a passion for making dreams a reality. Clients give me an idea, sketch, or specific list of needs. I work on a drawing to scale, and once approved I start on the project.
I would say my artistic creativity and blacksmithing skills are my strongest points, since I've been working the longest with them. I let my projects speak for themselves. I am a perfectionist and my own worst critic. 90% of my metal projects are mild steel, but I do work with other metals and any welding process.
When it comes to wood in my projects, I try to use repurposed wood whenever possible, but I'm not limited by it. Let's brainstorm, crunch some numbers, and make one of a kind custom pieces.

Sep 24, 2021This was -- without a doubt -- an absolutely wonderful experience. Xavier was extremely meticulous, detail oriented, and gifted in his craftsmanship. He designed for me a swing table with a level of artistry and precision that exceeded my expectations. Not only was his pricing fair and reasonable, he literally drove the completed project from Laredo, Texas to Atlanta, Georgia to deliver and install it. There were some understandable delays in the completion of the work -- but it was very much worth the wait. I found Xavier to be personable, professional, and super easy to work with. I hope to use him again and again for future creative projects...
