Loved the final product. It took a while to get it, but it was the beginning of COVID so understandable.

This was -- without a doubt -- an absolutely wonderful experience. Xavier was extremely meticulous, detail oriented, and gifted in his craftsmanship. He designed for me a swing table with a level of artistry and precision that exceeded my expectations. Not only was his pricing fair and reasonable, he literally drove the completed project from Laredo, Texas to Atlanta, Georgia to deliver and install it. There were some understandable delays in the completion of the work -- but it was very much worth the wait. I found Xavier to be personable, professional, and super easy to work with. I hope to use him again and again for future creative projects...

I am not a fan of most fireplace screens, so I spent a lot of time looking for something that was simple but beautiful. Once I found Xavier, I knew I loved the look of his custom screens, but ours turned out even better than I ever imagined. It fit perfectly in the opening and instantly gave our fireplace a clean, finished look. We had a chimney sweep come just after we received it, and he wanted to know where it came from. He was very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship, and he sees them all day long.

Xavier did a fantastic job with my grill grate. It came out exactly as we discussed and fit perfectly. He was very responsive and we are very please with the results.

Hi All - this is a review of Dirty Metal Secrets who custom-made a kitchen cutting board to fit into existing slot under kitchen counter top. First of all, I have to admit knowing nothing of how to describe what I needed. Once the scope of work was complete, Xavier delivered. The board and juice tray are sized perfectly. The product that Xavier made for me to give to my friend is absolutely beautiful. I would not change one thing. The only thing that I wish we could’ve done better was communicate more and if he could have made a couple of deadlines. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

Xavier is everything you could ask from a maker: patient, friendly and professional. The desk came perfectly as I envisioned. Xavier actually remade the desk top when he found out the first one didn’t have perfectly even colors. He even delivered the desk himself all the way from Texas to California because no delivery company is willing to take such a big item. To be honest, he exceeded all my expectations. I love the final product and I like the way we worked together. I’m pretty sure I’ll go back to him whenever I have a new project.

I'm very thrilled with the metal-and-walnut shelf Xavier built. It came out exactly like I hoped and looks utterly badass installed. To get us there, Xavier put up with late specification changes and anxiety about being able to control the shipping. He sent a ton of photos, answered questions, and made suggestions. He was easygoing, responsive, and patient. Awesome job.

I needed a pot rack for a large space. It needed to be built a certain way. I’m very happy with the finished product. Lots of emails to design and get it right. He did a great job.

Xavier did an excellent job with my project! The cost was fair and he even delivered to my home for free. Not sure he does this all the time, but it just goes to show he is willing to go out of his way for you. Highly recommended!
