This table base supporting a 1/2" thick tempered glass top is made of machiche, an exotic wood from Central America. The three legs shown here are linked in the middle of the base in an interlocking way. The same concept of interlocking can be applied for table bases comprising 4, 5, or more elements. The stones are individually chosen for there size, shape, and color. Each stone is cleaned, polished as needed and coated with a sealer.
