This coffee table is made of machiche, also called Mayan machiche, an exotic wood from Central America. Elements are linked with brushed aluminum. This example is a variation of the Chinon table also available. Using this concept of elements design and assembly with metal, there is virtually no limitation in the table shape. Dimensions of the table shown is 43"L 33"W 17.5"H

Materials used

  • Mayan Machiche
    A hard wood from a Central America sustainable source. (FSC certified)

  • Tempered clear glass 1/2 inch thick for table tops
    A small etching stamp is made one the glass to signify that the glass meets government standards.

  • California river stones
    The stones are individually chosen for there size, shape, and color. Each stone is cleaned, polished as needed and coated with a sealer.

  • Aluminum and stainless steel
