HALL BENCH WITH STORAGE
This is a solid cherry bench with through tenons and exposed box joints. There are three slide out baskets pictured, these can also be designed as solid wood drawers with hand cut dovetails. The piece larger piece is 68" long, smaller with blue cushion is pictured is 34" long, 22" high and 15 1/2" deep The bench can be upholstered with a cushioned seat and is used as a hall bench with storage for hats, gloves, and scarfs in the baskets and shows below.
The piece is finished with 6 coats of hand rubbed oil and can be built in cherry, walnut, maple, or oak depending on customer desires. With maple and cherry, I can use figured (curly or tiger) lumber for a very unique and special piece.
