Create the memory of a lifetime when you hide your Engagement Ring inside a gemstone! Imagine rockhounding with your partner, when they discover a sparkly rock with a beautiful gem glittering in the sun. They pick it up, and show you with excitement. You take the rock, crack it in half with your bare hands, and pull out an engagement ring. Then you propose! I can help you create this wonderful experience by carving a ring hole into a split rock, so the gem is just visible. I also install neodymium magnets into either side to close the rock and keep it held together until you pull it open. I'll customize the size of the ring hole to your specific ring and gemstone. I can also work with a variety of rock types, but granite with quartz is a great option. I do not need to have the engagement ring in my hands to do this, but if I do have it I can make the fit perfect. As long as I have the ring size and dimensions (easily provided by a jeweler) I can carve the hiding hole, and provide black felt to you so you can get the ring sitting just right. My work leaves only a barely visible crack at the split, but you can simply cover the split crack with cheap wood putty to seal it and make the crack disappear. Then, all your partner will see is the glittering gem or diamond!

I am a 3 dimensional sculptor of functional art. I work in many materials including wood, stone, steel, and plastics, with modern tools like 3D Printing, laser cutting, and CNC routing, in both the workshop and virtual spaces with VR sculpting software, 3D CAD, & BIM.
I am working on building projects with clients that will improve our world. We need to design things with respect to their social, environmental, and economic impact. This ranges from recycling and manufacturing plastics at home to carefully designing furniture for people & animals that really improves their quality of life, while minimizing their environmental cost.
I am a Master of Architecture, life long sculptor, speaker of Japanese, German, and English, and dedicated to building excellent projects for my clients!

Albert Cheng
For Albert's Wood sculpture of animated cats.I was very happy with the final product and would definitely work with Russell again in the future if I would like something custom made. My advice is that if there's any detail or suggestions that you may have for your project during its creation, please voice them out to Russell right away as there are some things that can only be adjusted during certain phases of the project. Thank you again Russell and my review would technically be 4.5/5 :)
