Custom Stainless Razor Holder

I absolutely love the finished product I received. Mark was easy to work with and the communication back and forth was amazing. It took a little longer than expected to receive, but I just cannot get over how amazing the signs look! Very happy.

Working with Mark was so easy and simple. He took pictures and updated me with every aspect of the project. He answered every and all questions I had. I would definitely work with him again. Very happy with my cutting board.

Mark is the ultimate craftsman. Our sofa tray is a perfect fit for our sectional.
Mark’s communication opened my eyes yo all the work put into something as simple as a wooden tray. He sent picture after picture depicting the entire process.
I would definitely recommend him to others & he’s first on my list of artists for future projects.

I asked Mark to make a folding chessboard. I sent him photographs of exactly what I wanted. The finished product bears no resemplance to the photographs. The chessboard I wanted was designed to be portable and lightweight. The board I received was heavy, clunky and to quote Mark "rustic" I became concerned with the qualilty of the constructon when I noticed on a photograph Mark sent to me that there was stain on the light colored squares. Mark had not stained the squared before gluing then down. Because of the this stain flowed to the adjacent squares. Most concerting was that Mark made no effort to clean this up before appling a a finish coat to the entire project. After I pointed the issue to Mark he did remove the finish coat and tried to remove the stain. Additionally, the grain orientation of the squares was a concern. The squares were glued in with no regard to the direction of the wood grain. The squares in the chessboard are not the same size. When I asked Mark about this he responded that his customers prefered a RUSTIC apprearnce. l It was obvious from the phototgraphs I had sent Mark that the board I wanted was anything but rustic. I do not know Mark and only contracted with him after seeing his work online. In my opinion Mark is not capable of making quality items. He is not capable of furniture grade work.. I am very dissapointed in his attention to detail. I did not press him on price. I accepted the price he quoted based upon his reviewing photographs of the folding chessboard I wanted. I expected the finished chessboard to be similar in form to the photographs I sent him. The board as delivered was crudely made, large, heavy, and frankly ugly. Mark is no craftsman and his attention to detail is non-existant.

I would work with Mark again in a heartbeat. I gave him some detailed specifications and tight tolerances. He delivered beautifully. He also communicated well, was reasonable at every turn, and even sent CAD drawings of the custom design for me to review before finalizing it. Overall, I had a great experience.
