I'm a mechanical design engineer with experience in aerospace, military/defense, veterinary surgical equipment, and semiconductor manufacturing.

In retirement, I shifted my technical experience into a full-time profession fabricating custom wood furniture and fixtures for homes, businesses, restaurants and bars. Engineering has served me well in designing unique and eye-pleasing projects.

Primarily I build with reclaimed softwoods such as cedar and redwood, but can also build with new wood species.

I've incorporated computer-controlled machines to fabricate custom metal wall décor, artwork, signs and furniture accents in addition to the woodworking equipment.

All we can say is WOW! Had a metal custom script sign made by Ron Dronkers of Chippy Rusty Vintage. The level of professionalism and craftsmanship for the price we paid is unheard of these days! This sign is the nicknames of my wife and I, a personal heirloom we will cherish forever! Glad we found Ron to get it done for us!
