This bed is made of grade a construction lumber but can also be made in oak, black walnut, pecan, cypress and cedar. Can be stained or painted to desired color and shipped within two weeks. Does not include cushion but can be made to specific size to fit.

My specialty is furniture refinishing but I also enjoy making custom furniture. Over the years I have been told repeatedly that I missed my calling when it came to the art of wood. I just enjoy any type of carpentry and making others dreams come true.
Dealing with the public all my life first as a salesman during college and have realized over the years that most people are not patient. Quality work is not possible without patience and making sure every detail is covered for pieces to last a lifetime. My pieces are meant to be passed down from generation to generation. This process can not be rushed.
No one is perfect and I don't expect to be, but I strive for perfection in my furniture making process. With a Masters in Special Education and a Masters in Business, I have learned that patience over powers ignorance.

He paid a lot of attention to details and he really cared about what we wanted. Communication with Derrick was easy; he shared his progress along the way. My console table is built very well, very nice, sturdy, and love the color it turned out. Came out more than I expected and and the communicating with maker is ver easy, he responds immediately and willing to work with any changes you wish. Definitely would love to work with the maker in the future. Highly recommend.

For Reclaimed Wood Custom Chevron Table With Industrial Metal Legs1.0Would have given zero stars if it was an option. I hired Harris Carpentry to build a new conference table for my office in January of 2023. I was given a timeline of 3 months for completion. I finally received my table on June 6th after getting very gruff with him. The table had been packaged improperly and was completely destroyed in shipping, so I had to refuse delivery. I had already paid in full, and the insurance company reimbursed him for the damage to the table. Fast forward to November and I still have no table, have heard every excuse you can possibly fathom, and had to get pretty nasty to get my money back. I did finally receive a full refund at the end of November. Now, a year later, I will be finding somebody else to build me a new table.
