Shaker Side Table With Shelf And Drawer
This is a slightly modern version of a quintessential Shaker design. The beveled underside of the top and the tapered legs give this classic design a graceful appearance. The cleat between the legs support a solid wood shelf and allow it to properly expand and contract with seasonal changes in humidity. The white ash drawer is constructed with hand-cut dovetails and a solid wood drawer bottom. Finished with a hand-rubbed oil varnish and wax. This classic piece is perfect at the bedside or living room and can also be made with drawer only, shelf only or without either. It can be made with custom dimensions to suit your space and also available in maple, walnut and ash. This is one of my favorite pieces to make. In fact, you can even see it in my logo!
