This Shaker style bookcase was made with traditional frame and panel and mortise and tenon construction methods from Hard Maple. The finish is hand rubbed tung oil and wax. It is made to last for generations. The bookcase pictured is 70 inches tall, 30 inches wide, and 13-1/2 inches deep, but I can make it just about any size to fit your space perfectly. This one is shown in Hard Maple, but could also be made from Cherry, Black Walnut, or Quarter Sawn White Oak.

I am a one-man shop building traditional furniture. Craftsman and Shaker designs are my favorite styles. I love the clean lines and simplicity of these timeless designs that lets the beauty of the wood be the star. I also prefer to use traditional joinery methods which I believe adds quality and longevity. There is no reason that a piece of furniture shouldn't last multiple generations if built with these time-tested methods.
