This Cherry floor lamp is an elegant addition to a space like a living room, office, or lobby. The lamp shade replicates aged parchment paper. This along with the eagle finial, and the cloth 6 ft. cord and plug add a slight retro character to this piece. My pieces are made from wood sourced and milled in South Carolina. I am a craftsman in South Carolina, with me I bring nuances from rural Pennsylvania to couple southern charm with northern rustic. The craft and the art of creating pieces like these allow for a peaceful and calming experience. I take great pride in knowing that my work is used by clients creating spaces that they love and that are meaningful to them. Dimensions (approx.): 13.5 in. W x 63 in. Mission Rd. Woodworking Co. provides the finest handcrafted wood pieces to those that appreciate them. With a love for wood and nature, coupled with the desire to be students of their craft, you will find that a quality and level of professionalism is unmatched by most others. Our company is veteran (USMC, and former LE) owned and was founded in the South Carolina Pines, by South Carolina craftsmen and with them they brought nuances of the Adirondack Mountains and Rural Pennsylvania from a past time. Our mission is to not have a need to source wood from healthy standing timber, for the sake of creating a product. We believe in conservation of nature overall, which means to us, is the only responsible way to assure sustainability and to do our part in helping fight deforestation. We source our wood from trees that are near or at end-of-life, due to being deemed a safety hazard to life or property, sustained irreparable damage, or an existing and untreatable disease. We also believe in waste minimization. We do our best to try and combat as much waste as possible, by responsibly repurposing any leftover materials or unusable wood for woodworking, by repurposing them into other useful products, like rough sawn lumber, wood slabs, firewood, and BBQ smoking wood.
