The listing and published price are for the frame ONLY. Upholstery options vary greatly, so please message me to discuss options beyond the frame. This footstool is patterned after the Model 300 Ottoman from the 1912 catalog. The exposed wood of the footstool is quarter-sawn white oak using traditional mortise and tenon peg joinery. Significant time and attention is devoted to the finish in order to replicate the beauty of the traditional Arts & Crafts furniture of the time. After extensive hand sanding, a red/brown aniline dye followed by an oil base walnut colored stain is applied to achieve the dark oak color (shown). A shellac seal coat is then applied with another thorough sanding. Finally up to 3 coats of satin urethane are applied with a rub out between coats. Please review fabric offerings at: www.charlottefabrics.com Upon selection we can provide specific pricing. The price listed is frame only since fabrics very greatly. Dimensions: Overall 20" wide, 16" deep and 15" high + upholstery cushioning.

Arts and Crafts Furniture….Handcrafted Custom Pieces
I am a retired engineer and marketer and now do what I enjoy most. I operate a small, independent, home shop in Northeast Ohio, where I construct handmade Arts and Crafts furniture from local timber sources in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan.
By demand, I have also expanded into "modern" metal and wood benches, as well as "live edge" pieces.
Like my furniture, these are handcrafted using steel and hardwoods. Although originally conceived for outdoor application, many are destined for interior furnishing only.
Please understand that the furniture I build is destined for my house, or yours, and so I rarely "stock" an item. Yours will be built with the utmost care and craftsmanship.
Custom requests are encouraged
