Woodworker:

Bill Burkel grew up in the city of Philadelphia. After some time, Bill and his family moved to the surrounding suburbs of Philadelphia. Eventually, Bill started to dabble in woodworking. Slowly that hobby started to grow into a business. When Bill purchased his first CNC which allowed him to create faster and more precise. Now we have a 5' x 14' CNC to allow us to bring larger projects to reality. We also have a 130 Watt Co2 Laser to create precise and clear engravings in many types of wood, plastics, and some metals.

Sawyer:

While living in the surrounding areas of Philadelphia, Bill developed a love of trees and hated seeing all the storm damaged/ wind felled trees being turned into firewood. Bill thought this was a waste of good lumber. So to solve this problem, he bought his first sawmill and started to offer a milling service to turn those trees into usable lumber or slabs. We now have an iDry Vacuum kiln to take this material and dry quickly and accurately. We use this material to produce our projects, but also sell it retail. Using our Traece software we are able to give our customers the complete story of wher there lumber came from, and when it was dried. Each of our slabs come with a QR code that will tell that story.

Our Goal:

Bill combines his knowledge of wood, and of milling to get you the most yield out of every log. Our goal is to material to produce the the best projects we can at an affordable price for our clients.
