Working with Amy was pure joy. I had two bedside stands custom built by
A local carpenter. I asked that same carpenter to make two more bedside stands, same measurements only stained a different color. After waiting ten months, and then looking online for something close to what I wanted I decided I didn’t want yo settle and decided to google custom furniture makers and found Custom Made.
Amy was THE maker for my project.
I sent Amy the measurements, a picture, and a sample of the color I was trying to capture. Built to Perfection! I wish she had made my first two bedside stands! Excellent communication, excellent pricing. CAD drawings were emailed to me and different sample stains were sent via mail to settle on the correct stain color with some tweaking. The project was completed a month before her original timeline. She shipped on a Thursday and were delivered on the next day! I was not home to accept the delivery so I don’t know how they were packaged up. No damage, so how they were packaged worked.
I find myself walking into the guest bedroom several times a day when I’m passing by, stick my head in the door, admire them and smile!

Amy produced a fantastic piece of furniture from a very crude drawing. The final product is great. Solid woods and great details. Kept me up-to-date about progress and was clear about everything!

This is my second project with Glessboards. If I have additional projects I will definitely contact them again.

Amy made 3 beautiful dining chairs to go with our farmhouse table. The process was super simple: I explained what we were looking for and she suggested a design that made perfect sense. We selected our wood, she sent stain samples, and the chairs were delivered right on schedule! We could not be happier with how they turned out.

We can't say enough about how pleased we are with the experience of working with Amy Gless of Glessboards and with the finished project they delivered. We wanted a king size bed with storage drawers under the platform and storage in the headboard. Our bedroom has windows on two sides, closets on the third and the entry door and ensuite bathroom on the fourth. The bed could only go on a window wall. Critical to our requirements was the headboard had to be of a height to fit under our bedroom windows. We shopped on-line and in many local furniture stores. Many beds had storage, but always their headboards blocked our windows. Amy worked hard, through several rounds of design, to meet our requirements, making suggestions based on her experience and accepting our ideas too. Also important was matching the finish of our existing bedroom furniture. Amy prepared two rounds of samples until we found a practically identical finish. Amy was upfront about timing (5 to 6 months) and pricing. She delivered and assembled the bed right at the 6 month mark, at the contracted price, which was very comparable to the beds we had seen at furniture stores, except the bed Amy built for us met our design requirements. We would not hesitate to contract with Glessboards and Amy Gless in the future.

From start to finish, working with Amy was wonderful. She responded quickly with a proposal, sent drawings when she said she would, projected accurate timeline. Everything was spot on! Really easy to work with. Wished I would have found her sooner to work on my other projects!
