The owner, Shelby York Barnhart opened shop in 2012. She has been in the metalworking field for over 8 years. After learning to weld at age 12 in her dads garage she went to welding school, completed 3 years worth of Blacksmith Apprenticeships, and worked as a welder and fabricator. After many years in the trade she decided it was time to start her own business, concentrating on what she really loved.

Terrific from start to finish. Shelly answered preliminary questions promptly about design and finish for the handrail. The rail looks great, exactly what I ordered and had hoped for. Received this custom made rail in 9 days after ordering!
