Original watercolor on archival paper by miniature artist Mary Jill Lemieur. World's tiniest Saw-whet owl painting micro watercolor. This is an original, one of a kind collectible artwork, with loads of detail in the feathers and the birch bark. The art is 1/2"" wide x 1" tall. The outer dimensions of the painting are 5" x 5". The painting comes with a 5" x 5" archival white mat, with a 2" square opening, ready for you to frame!

I'm a professional artist specializing in fine art paintings, pet portraits and illustration. I have a fine arts degree with a major in graphic design. I've had over thirty-five years experience in creating custom artwork and design. I create artwork using a wide range of media: traditional watercolor, acrylic, oils, and pen and ink as well as modern hand-painted digital paintings on canvas and archival paper. I use only the highest quality archival materials in creating my work.

Once you choose the subject of your custom painting, we'll work together to make it a reality. Will it be a portrait of your child, a favorite pet or animal, a house portrait or a treasured family memory? I'll closely involve you in the creative process throughout the various stages of painting. With your suggestions and input, every detail will be brought to perfection. It's great fun for you to see your painting develop, and working together in this way we'll create the exact "masterpiece" YOU have in mind!

Painting is my passion; I'm committed to creating the most heartwarming and elegant paintings that I possibly can for my customers, who attest to my patience, close attention to perfection and ability to please!

Mary Jill was a complete pleasure to work with. She communicated throughout the project and the final product was more than I had hoped. If anyone is interested in having an item surpass their expectations, Mary Jill is the person to make that experience happen.

We came up with our idea last minute for Christmas after our son-in-law won the State playoffs med December. We reached out after putting the idea to see if anyone was interested and could possibly get it completed before Christmas. MJ reached out to us and surpassed all of our expectations! Our Christmas is extra special due to her hard work and timely return. She is a true blessing! Thank you MJ and Merry Christmas to all!!! Carl and Pam Robbins

My project entailed having a 4x6 photo of our old sailboat painted for my wife's birthday, which was four weeks away. I was looking for something to fit in a 16x20 frame. Upon posting my project, Mary was quick to respond. She shared some of her work and it looked great. Upon agreeing to have her create the painting, she stayed in touch with me throughout the process. The entire process took about two weeks. She kept updating me throughout with her progress and was very receptive when I requested a change. Once the final version was approved by me, it was shipped out and received in time for the birthday. I would highly recommend using Mary for your projects.
