Painted Desert is originally a 33 inch glass diameter, reverse painted chandelier. Glass bowls are formed in my studio kilns and the forged fixture is hand forged. Chandeliers are installation ready. Painted and signed by artist Jenny Floravita.
This light is an example of a painting in the glass that incorporates meaningful landscapes and flowers. I can work with you to create a similar yet different work of art for your home.

Jenny Floravita is a leading artist in reverse painted glass lighting. Jenny was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area to a family who makes their living in the arts. She has lived along California’s Central Coast and spends time in Hawaii, both of which inspire her life’s work.
Jenny Floravita’s specialty is in making Reverse Painted Glass Chandeliers. Many of her chandeliers are custom painted. She forms the glass bowls in her studio and her iron fixtures are hand forged.
She is also an accomplished oil painter, watercolorist and mixed-media artist. In fact, Jenny has been painting and creating since she was a small child.
Her studio is based in Northern California. Jenny is married to an electrician who has a talent for tropical gardening…and has one beautiful son who also loves to paint.
