The mid century modern dresser was a requested to match the style of the mid century modern sideboard. The dresser features waterfall design where the grain spans the left , top, and right sides for a continuous grain pattern. The design, as pictured here, has four drawers (6” and 9”), all solid wood with the fronts which have continuous grain top to bottom. The front edge is chamfered for a graceful transition to the drawer fronts and features hand crafted handles. The drawers run on solid wood rails. The legs are turned with a subtle taper. Finished with 3 coats of hard wax oil with paste wax. The size and placement of the drawers can be modified for each client. Pairs well with the Waterfall Side Table. The back is constructed of shiplapped slats to allow for seasonal movement

I am a custom furniture maker. I work out of my shop in northwest Connecticut and source most of my wood locally.
My handcrafted furniture designs are inspired by mid-century-modern, Nakashima, shaker and arts & crafts designs. I strive to design and build with simple and beautiful lines in mind and celebrate both the wood grain and joinery. I finish my furniture pieces with natural oil finishes, each coat hand rubbed and never anything that will hide the beauty of the wood surfaces.
I work with customers on original designs for them as well as designs based on existing pieces. I develop 3D CAD designs to review with clients. They are always welcome to see photographs of the work in progress.
