This is a beautiful little sideboard that has a simple elegance to it. It is all solid cherry with curly maple doors and drawer fronts. This will fit with just about any style you already have with your furnishings.
As with everything I make, I can customize the size and choice of wood for you.

The use of both domestic and exotic woods helps me to enhance the clean lines of my designs. I am influenced by a variety of styles from Shaker and Mission to Art Deco and Art Nouveau, blending them into a more contemporary style.
I have worked with wood for over 30 years, establishing VB Woodworks in 1996.
Along with designing and building custom furniture, I have a few limited productions and semi-custom lines with no two pieces exactly the same.

      Darrin was especially easy to work with, he took his time in answering my questions and always made himself readily available. I chose to work with him based on photographs that were posted and that he sent of previous work and after speaking together I knew that he understood exactly what I was looking for. The craftsmanship of these pieces is beyond what I had expected, and believe me I had high expectations. Darrin created a writing desk with matching night stands out of walnut with contrasting sections done in Curley Maple with hand made drawer pulls. They are beautiful pieces of art that I will enjoy for many years. Thank you, Darrin!
