Live edge walnut with epoxy inlay table
This piece is one of the rare pieces that I made for our dining room. It features a live edge piece of walnut with the voids filled with epoxy resin colored with turquoise pieces. I use this method instead of opaque coloring powders to add a contrasting beautiful blue color while also allowing for some fill transparency. I made a matching dining console which doubles as an extension to the table. One of a kind. One at a time.

About Me
Twenty-five years ago we instantly fell in love with a 100-year-old farmhouse. We reveled in its unique architecture, old world craftsmanship and a chance to preserve history. All through the years since then it became the ultimate outlet to perfect both my artistic and carpentry skills.
About My Business
My disdain for mass-produced furnishings lead me to the creation of many unique custom-made pieces. By combining a passion for historical materials with modern design, I was able to preserve a bit of the past into the future. Old barn wood was transformed into tables, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets and anything else I could apply my artistry to. Broken Mexican tile was fashioned into beautiful mosaic inlays. Collected stones, shells and driftwood were melded with old growth wood to recreate natural beauty.

Mar 30, 2015Ron created a gorgeous custom banquette dining table out of reclaimed wood for us. Communication with him was smooth and easy. He was always swift to respond and made beautiful colored renderings for us to review before starting the actual building process. This made it so much easier for us to visualize and talk about what we liked and didn’t like. We were very particular about the type of reclaimed wood we were searching for and he helped us find the perfect wood. We actually met at a seller of reclaimed wood that he recommended and were able to meet in person and look at the wood together. His seller was also cheaper than the source of reclaimed wood we were thinking of using originally. During the actual building process he kept us up to date on how he was coming along and even sent photos, which was nice. He was a joy to work with and helped us realize the vision we had for the space. His craftsmanship and sense of artistry are superb.
