With commissioned furniture or artwork it's important to remember that there is a difference between mass produced furniture and furniture that is custom designed and handcrafted with your preferences and personal tastes in mind. Bespoke furniture takes time and experience to produce well but the reward is work that is unique, made just for you and built to last.

May 16, 2024As the curator of a historical society, I contacted Craig Taylor this past winter about making an exhibition case based upon the jewelry display case we saw online. He's been truly wonderful to work with every step of the way, beginning with the enjoyable process of discussing the project until every detail was worked out to our satisfaction. As for the finished cabinet, it's beyond beautiful! Craig is a superior craftsman, who clearly puts a high value upon excellence. We're using the cabinet to display a collection of small Native American artifacts and love how there's unobtrusive illumination in every compartment. Craig also arranged shipping for us, locating a fine driver who got the cabinet here quickly and in perfect condition. We're proud to have this exhibition case in our museum, and very grateful to Craig for making our vision a reality.

When you can't find the correct size/style that you want you might as well go with Custom and I would highly recommend Craig Taylor to my friends!! Oct 5, 2016I am completely satisfied and extremely impressed with this beautiful console base. It is exactly what I requested - but better! Omg the price was 1/3 the retail price. Craig was very professional and communicated with me on every detail selection, paint, stability, application and product ETA status. He personally delivered this heavy console to me free of charge. This was a pleasant experience and I plan on using Craig again.
