Hand Forged Steel and Hemlock Coat Rack
This coat rack measures 36"L x 4"H x 3" D. The wood is sanded rough sawn Hemlock with a light natural oil stain, and the steel is hand forged with a blackened beeswax finish. This is a six hook rack, larger sizes are available. All of these are custom made to order, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
I have been creating functional and sculptural pieces for over thirty years. In that time I have participated in numerous exhibitions as well as public and private commissions. I have a strong affinity for working with various media and methods that include steel forging and fabrication, woodworking, mold making, and metal casting. I also undertake architectural restoration projects.
