Contemporary Fused Glass Round Platter (18" diameter) Featuring Handmade Glass - Sea Stones
The fused glass platter Sea Stones combines soothing light turquoise with a field of clear glass. The undulating lines convey a gentle sense of movement between the two areas. I fashioned the sea stones from my handmade glass and placed them in the clear section so they seem to float. The large ball shape gives this platter a contemporary feel. It’s perfect for serving or displaying. The platter food safe and should be hand washed. Not for use in the microwave oven.

Feb 23, 2024What a wonderful artist Michelle is! After meeting with us initially to better understand what we had in mind for the transom window, she prepared several artist drawings with suggested themes. Every one was a possibility that we could have been pleased with. With her talent it made it difficult to decide. We settled on one, then changed to another, and finally after incorporating elements from more than one, and with further changes and additions we finally settled on what has become a work of art in the 6' wide arched transom window above our 8' front doors. It incorporates elements of the family's heritage with a truly wonderful rondel at it's center.
