Botanical Fused Glass Sculpturette Featuring Handmade Glass - Red Velvet Rose
The fused glass sculpturette Red Velvet Rose is part of my Jardinage collection inspired by flowers from my garden. It features handmade glass in luxurious colors with hand painted details to add structure to the flow of the glass. I wrote the quote from Voltaire, “Il faut cultiver notre jardin.” (We must nurture our garden) along the stem line in liquid gold and fired it in the kiln for permanence. The glass is seated in a tiger wood base. Enjoy the delights of the garden year-round with the affirmation that a healthy garden is the result of devotion.

When she had questions, she did not hesitate to ask them. She did a masterful job incorporating some of our current artwork (our stained glass windows) into this new piece. When the piece arrived, it exceeded my expectations with its beautiful use of raked glass on top and opaque glass on the bottom. I highly recommend this maker. Five stars all the way.
