Sybil Green Woodworks combines simple aesthetic lines with time-honored mortise & tenon joinery to create classic works of functional art. My recent works are stain-free. I'm simply letting the wood species dictate the colors and tones.

My formal education in woodworking includes Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and Gregory Paolini Design.

I am a retired wildland firefighter so my connection to wood has been career-long.. Primarily using prescribed burning, I restored and maintained ecosystems throughout the South East. Managing wildfires was the other side of the job. Amongst those activities, I worked wood creatively and continue the craft here in retirement.
