Serving Tray

This serving tray was commissioned for use in a private residence, for the purpose of carrying tea from the kitchen at one end of the house to the sitting room at the other. The clients were looking for a piece that was not strictly functional but that it would have some subtle decoration. After a short design process, we arrived at this cherry serving tray with flared sides and a small birdseye maple inlay. The wood for this tray was selected to reference some of the materials used in the architecture of the client's home.
