Cumaru And Tiger Maple Jewelry Box / Chest

This handcrafted jewelry box is built from an exotic hardwood called Cumaru and Tiger/Curly Maple. It features curved legs and a cove molding detail on the top and drawer fronts. It's design mimics the look of a small chest of drawers. It features 6 drawers to hold a variety of jewelry pieces. The top 3 drawers have different size dividers for separating and storing items. The bottom 3 drawers are completely open with no dividers to accommodate larger items. The drawer bottoms are lined with black velvet to provide a soft surface for jewelry. The drawer pulls are made from walnut. The piece is finished with a shellac and varnish for a smooth and natural looking finish that enhances the beauty of the wood.
