From the beginning Roxana worked with me to see exactly what it was I wanted, we brainstormed and came up with what would work best. My deadline moved up from the original date we discussed and she was still able to create my project and get it out to me in a timely manner. The piece came out even better then expected !

Throughout the entire process there were many small mistakes, but I kept telling myself it will be fine, but by the time I got my project I was just disappointed. I asked her to recreate a ceramic piece that my wife's grandma had always had on the wall, but replacing my grandma's name with her name, so it was very sentimental and from her work I saw it looked like it'd be no problem for her. I asked for a 5inch by 15inch dimensions, and provided a picture of the original. What I got was a warped trapezoid, obvious from the time I picked it up. It was 4.5" long on the left, 5" on the right, 13" on the top and 13.7" on the bottom. Also the spelling of my wife's name (Kristian) always looked odd to me, the 'a' looked like a Q, but I thought it was ok, until I realized it was mixed lower case and upper case, like 'KRISTIan", so that's also a dumb mistake. The whole thing took almost 2 and a half months to get to me, way longer than it should, the colors are off, and I feel like I could have done it better myself. I can't say she has an eye for detail. Maybe it's an artist thing where she can make something from her mind come out ok on a sculpture, but she f-d this thing up so bad I wonder if she just didn't care or if she has lost her touch.

Highly recommend. Very talented artist and an even better person. Easy and pleasant to work with. Very high attention to detail and strong professional standards. I had a highly unique and sensitive project for Roxana. It was challenging and a bit out of her (or anyone's, for that matter) comfort zone. She handled it with a great deal of intellectual curiosity as well as discretion, and nailed the project despite its complexities. More than all of this, I could feel her emotional investment in the project. Our interaction in person was limited but I immediately felt she was warm and trustworthy. Through the course of the project - about two months - this was proven true without doubt. If I ever have a custom scultpture to commission again, I'd call Roxana with the first call without question!

It was a totally satisfying experience to work with Roxana Casillas on this difficult project. Her suggestions for the type of sculpture (3D or low relief) and material to use for sculpting (marble or other types of stone) were very helpful. Furthermore, she listened to my minor criticisms of how the animals being sculpted should appear, in order to look as natural as possible, and faithfully complied with my suggestions. As a serious collector of elephant art in many forms, I am completely satisfied with her sculpting talents and pleasant nature in responding to my suggestions. She is a fine lady of superb talent.

This was both a creative and precision project that turned out fabulously. Every step of the process, from initial communication to delivery, was easy, professional, and positive. The project benefited from Roxana's experienced suggestions early on, and her artistic abilities took it from there. I can't imagine an easier, more confidence-instilling route to a successful, timely, and beautiful end result. This project was a gift, and both the giver and the recipient appreciate Roxana's work immensely. Not only would I certainly work with her again, I don't expect to look elsewhere if new ideas/needs for commissioned sculpture arise in the future.

Roxana has been very kind and successful sculpture during our project.She has done her best to satisfy my requests and supported me with her experiences about having a very exciting bust of mine. In case of having a second project Roxana is my permanent artist,thanks for everything ROXANA...

Roxana is a brilliant and excellent sculptor! I couldn't have been any more pleased than I was and am with the final product. She kept in contact with me throughout the entire process and was very patient and accommodating in fulfilling my every request. The product was finished and shipped out to me timely. She made this project an exciting and quite pleasing journey. Roxana is a brilliant classic sculptor, so I'm sure she must have been taken aback by my project idea: a totem pole in the Pacific Northwest First Nations style, but with animals that aren't typically found in such art. If she was surprised, though, she didn't say so. In fact, she approached my project with enthusiasm, meeting my price and strict deadline. We communicated frequently, sharing photos to help guide the project along. When there was a brief hiccup, she worked to rectify the problem immediately. My husband loves his totem pole. It's the most amazing thing I've ever given him, and I can't thank Roxana enough.

I couldn't even begin to put this experience into words. Roxana made a sculpture to celebrate me and my Wife's love through marriage. She was the clear choice for my project, gave me detail and as much design freedom as I wanted with pictures sent every step of the way. It is very clear to me that she put her heart into making this sculpture and the end product was everything I could have hoped for. Roxana is an absolute pleasure to work with, she was warm and professional but also super friendly. Look at her page her work speaks for its self. I could not even put into words the quality of workmanship she finishes.

Roxana was one of the easiest person that I have ever worked with when it pertains to custom orders. She took the time to research the items that we were discussing and was open to discussion, offering up ideas and ultimately coming to a joint agreement of which she carried out admirably. The communication was exemplary to say the least, I could not have asked for any better communication on the project. Roxana's talents are extremely refined and honed for precision tasks. She employed all the traits of a true professional and never wearied from her position on point. The shipping I found to be a bit extraordinary, but then again we were shipping a lot of weight and it had to be packaged appropriately. I am extremely satisfied with the attention to detail and the way that each of the figures turned out. I was a bit dismayed that they did not hold up to the elements as well as I would have liked them to hold up. I have to apologize for the tardiness of my review. I thought that I had already submitted my remarks but when I happened back on the sight I found that I had indeed not submitted a review. I think that Roxana will listen to your desires and do everything within her power to insure that the final product is what you had in mind.

This was a true family heirloom project and Ms. Casillas did not disappoint. She took us through a journey of maybe this or maybe that and finally embraced exactly what we wanted. She kept in close communication with us and when the project finally arrived it was emotional and frankly beyond our expectations. This is a gifted artist!

Five stars across the board! I was so happy that I had the chance to work with Roxana. If you see some of her sample pieces, you can tell that she is an incredible artist. I was afraid that my project would be too small for someone with her talent, but that was not true at all! I really felt that Roxana was treating my "little" project as if it were her own masterpiece. I was blown away by the quality of the work, and also by the experience of working with her. I was updated frequently, received timely responses and had solid communication throughout. My piece arrived right on schedule and was an excellent value for the cost of a one of a kind work of art. Not only do I recommend that others choose Roxana for their own sculpting needs, I sincerely hope that I get the chance to request her again, for a future project. Roxana was great and the piece is beautiful. She very thoughtfully looked up shipping quotes on my behalf. Unfortunately, the piece is quite fragile and suffered significant damage during the shipping process. Obviously, this is no fault of Roxana's, but should be kept in mind for any delicate commissions that will require shipping.

If I could add a sixth star and two thumbs up for Roxana, I would! She was extremely communicative and enjoyable to work with from the pitch phase, to defining the project, to delivering the final product. She was truly interested in understanding what I was looking for out of the project and sent me photos regularly of the progress she was making. The attention to detail that she put into the project resulted in a finished product that went above and beyond my expectations. Roxana is a true professional in that she produces beautiful things while also handling her business with reliability. The project: plaster bust of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, a rather silly subject that Roxana handled with professionalism and flair. I would gladly work with her again!

She did an incredible job. It was a such a pleasure to work with her. She would answer your messages very quickly, and always keep you updated with progress. She one of the best, if not the best, artists on this website (and that is saying a lot). You will not go wrong with her being in charge of the project.

She is a very talented artist and I am grateful that Custom Made helped bring us together. Roxana is kind, attentive and open minded. It was a pleasure to go through this experience with her. She kept me informed by text and with pictures. Roxana promptly responded to any questions or concerns I had. I cannot say enough about her talent as an artist. She helped guide me through details such as scale, colors, and materials. Without Custom Made and Roxana's efforts my project would still be just another unfulfilled dream.

Finding this website was pretty much the best thing to happen to me in recent years. This is great website that allows you to connect with many great artists and sculptors from all over the place. When I first posted the idea for my project, I honestly thought no one would pick it up or even think about doing it since for years I've been trying to find someone who could make what I had in mind and never had any luck. I had even been to several other websites and looked around for people that would be willing to take on this task, but again no would could be found. Pretty much the same day I posted my project details on this site is when I get replies, it was an almost immediate response and that was amazing. But when It came down to it and I had to pick one, I did so and I do not regret the decision in the slightest. Roxana who took on this project for me did an amazing job and its exactly how I wanted it. She's a very nice person ontop of that and was extremely professional throughout this entire process. She kept up with good communication,kept me up to date on any updates she had concerning the project. She also would contact me before proceeding with certain procedures so she could make sure I was in on what exactly she was doing and made sure it was exactly how I wanted it. In the future if I have more projects like this in mind I would want done, she is definitely #1 on my list to contact. She's an extreme professional and has an immense talent. There's really not much else to say other than I would recommend her to anyone here on this site or anywhere else because I know with whatever they asked for, they'd get nothing but a sheer true quality product in the end. The project proceeded well, even though there were the usual hiccups. There was a minor issue, in that wood selected was a bit temperamental. The final result, nevertheless, was excellent!
