LaRue Woodworking offers generations of experience hand building Custom Made "one of a kind" Projects tailored to our customers needs/wants. As the 7th generation on my family farm many of my tools and building methods have been passed down over the centuries, I have 30 years of experience with wood, myself. So, between the “handed down” knowledge and all the Restoration, Repairs and Duplications of Wood Antiques that have been proven for years or even centuries, I continue to use these methods in my custom projects to make sure they last for years/centuries.
We offer a complete Custom Made Projects ranging from the simple Custom Projects like Picture Frames and cutting boards all the way to the Custom High-End Projects like Dining Room Furniture to Custom Cabinetry to Custom Bedroom Furniture and beyond. We have built Custom Projects with a Reclaimed Lumber, to a Contemporary Look to a Modern Look all the way to the “High-End Refined” look, and everything else in-between and beyond.
LaRue Woodworking ALSO offers, what we call, the “EXTREME CUSTOM” option, because we own a 75 acre wood lot, sawmill, Dry Kiln, planers, Custom Molding machine and even a 3-D CNC Router, I offer a “Used your own tree/log/Lumber” all the way to “Pick your own Live Tree” to finished project.

Shipping Policy
We ship anywhere in the US via FedEx, USPS, UPS and private carriers. Your custom piece will either be boxed, crated or palatalized depending on the size and shipping method and all shipping fees will already be added into the quote. For orders beyond the US border please contact me for a shipping quote and delivery delay date.
Maker Policy
Commencement of Construction: Upon the initial deposit, the Builder will proceed with the ordering of materials needed to build said custom wood project(s). Once the Builder has the wood in the woodshop, no construction will commence for a minimum of twenty one (21) days; this time is used for acclamation of the temperature and moisture content in the wood to equalize/stabilize to 8% maximum internal moisture content at a temperature of 64-68 degrees Fahrenheit. Please realize that the materials that the Builder will use in the construction of your custom wood project(s) will be for the most part solid woods and therefore, the Builder is not responsible for any subsequent warping, bowing, swelling or cracking caused by a change in temperature or humidity following delivery of the project(s). The Builder will make the best efforts to choose properly dried wood and to avoid pieces, which the Builder suspects will be subject to further drying to minimize any significant amount of warping, bowing, swelling or cracking which, may occur. Again, please realize this custom wood project(s) is made of natural materials and once the item has left the Builder’s shop the Builder has no control over the effect of change of temperature or humidity upon the materials. The Builder will, however, assist the Buyer in advising optimum conditions for the custom wood project(s), which should assist in its stabilization. TIME IS NOT OF THE ESSENCE as to the date Builder agrees to substantially complete the custom wood project. The Builder assumes no responsibility for material delays or shortages. Any such delays, which are beyond the control of the Builder, shall be added to the time for completion. The Builder will use its best efforts to complete the custom wood project(s) in a timely basis, but with any custom wood project(s), delays are often times inevitable and beyond the control of the builder. Colors, Finishes and Sheens Disclaimer: Actual colors/sheens on your new or reclaimed wood project may vary from the sample pictures slightly. Wood is a natural substance used for your project and as such will display its own unique characteristics. Wood has grains that will absorb stains and other finishes at different amounts, depending on orientation of the grain, types of woods used and the moisture content of the wood. As a result, variation will occur throughout the wood. LaRue Woodworking cannot be responsible for the actual degree of variation of colors and sheens that may occur in your custom project. Custom work is non-refundable and once in-progress, custom projects cannot be cancelled. In the unlikely event your custom piece has an issue, we will work with you to solve and fix this issue. However LaRue Woodworking is not to be held responsible if the issue is caused by buyer not heading our cautions, care and handling suggestions.
