From my initial request for a having a custom made necklace, Nana was very warm and willing to help me achieve my dream kanji necklace. I once had a Japanese friend who gave me a ring that had this very symbol, and it really inspired me to be creative and to follow my dreams as a teenager. Unfortunately, a few years ago, I lost it. It's sad really as I'm no longer close to friend who gave it to me, but I really longed to have a nostalgic necklace that constantly reminded me on a daily basis that I could set out to achieve my dream if I really worked for it. While i'm no longer close to the friend who gave it to me, I'd like to think that this necklace will help to keep that memory alive of a friendship I still treasure until now. The necklace is everything I could have hoped for and more. The intricate detail of the symbol is exactly what I was hoping for and the style of it, is very much in line with what I love. Easy to order,, very nice product. Image and finished product are a bit different.. ie the heart is much bigger than on the image and silver is smooth and not rough looking in person. Overall, I like the ring and it is appropriately priced.
