I had a custom chocolate box made that is similar to the one in the movie Matilda. It's even more beautiful than what I expected!!! Dick did an amazing job, communicated the entire time, I am beyond happy with the box. He packaged it extremely well as I had it shipped to my address in Florida and then on to the Bahamas. The workman ship is stunning. I could not recommend him more! 10 out of 10.

I was able to easily communicate my ideas for customization and received the box exactly as I requested in a very quick turnaround. It was much larger than I expected (my own error as I never actually looked at the size or asked) but in a good way, it is very substantial and super cool, not to mention very beautiful. I asked to have it unfinished and although I'll likely end up playing around with different finishes, I am tempted to leave it unfinished because the black walnut is so pretty. This is something so unique and specially crafted that I can pass it down to my kids and they can do the same; I've never had a piece of furniture or item like that before, so it is extra special. Thank you!

I am thrilled with this gift for my daughter. She has loved Matilda since she was a little girl. The communication was timely and the box was completed faster than expected. I can’t wait to give this gift to my daughter! Even if she is turning 30, this is a beautiful gift.

An all around fantastic experience. The box arrived in great shape, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to see my fiancée's reaction upon opening it!

Exactly what I was looking for....better yet, exactly what she was looking for!!!

Dick was very responsive and incredibly fast with this order! The box is as beautiful as I had hoped it would be. The shape is so elegant, and the finish and carvings are beautiful. I would likely order this box in a smaller size if I had it to do over, simply because I don't know how I am going to fill this up with chocolate!

Absolutely love it!! This was an intended as an engagement gift, and my now fiancé absolutely loves it! Dick was pleasurable to work with, he really made sure that the chocolate box was exactly what I was looking for. Very fast service and shipping would definitely work with him on other custom made projects.

The Matilda chocolate box came out even better then the pictures show. It’s beautiful! Dick was able to have it completed and to me by the time I needed it (which I didn’t give him too much time as it was for an anniversary gift)! I’ve already bragged and showed it off and everyone loves how perfect it is! Thanks so much!!

The final product turned out better than imagined! He is very talented and works quickly! Very pleased with the whole experience.

My project turned out absolutely beautiful. The service was excellent. I was kept informed throughout the project. I was given different designs to choose from. I would definitely recommend carveshop. Thank you all so much, my husband will live this.
