The library shelves are perfect, I wouldn't hesitate to use Matthew again

The walnut dining table Matthew made for us turned out beautifully! Matthew was extremely communicative and accommodating, and he built the table to our exact specifications. He send us photos of every stage of the construction, and his skill and expertise are beyond measure. He did such a beautiful job. We could not have imagined a better outcome - it's such aa gorgeous pice off furniture.

Absolutely satisfied. Was concerned over doing business this way but could not have asked for a better outcome. I highly recommend considering Mathew for whatever project you have in mind.

I enjoyed working with the Buchanan Family--I got to choose beautiful wood and the resulting piece is a gorgeous heirloom with solid construction. I wish I'd had slightly more control over final shipping, but I understand the desire to get a finished piece out to make more space.

Matthew Buchanan was very professional and very responsive with his communications. There was some hitches during delivery, but nothing earth shattering. It really comes down to the quality of the product. Matthew built me the table I have been wanting for almost two decades now. It is beautiful, solid, well made and exhibits careful craftsmanship. Thank you very much Matthew. Next time I have a custom furniture need, I will definitely use your service again.

Matthew was great to work with. He responded to my questions and or inquiries quickly. My vanity and medicine cabinet came out beautifully. Very high quality work and it certain shows! I would definitely work with Matthew again in the future.

There's not much more to say after giving 5 stars in every category, but I'd like to say that he was very professional at all times, very knowledgeable in the process of furniture making, very easy to talk to and deal with, not over priced, I believe I paid a fair price for my exquisite table and it is well worth it. I was considering a few different people, but ultimately am very glad I chose him for my project. I don't think I could have received a better product or better service elsewhere.

Matthew made a curio cabinet and four barstools and all are expertly made and are works of art. His craftsmanship and attention to detail are first rate. Both of the projects turned out exactly as I envisioned and will be legacy pieces of furniture that I can leave to my children. They really are just stunning. The only downside was the project took a good bit longer than anticipated but once he realized that, he was very forthright that it was going to be longer than initially discussed. I will work with Matthew again in the future. It's clear that he takes his work seriously and very much wants to deliver products that please the customer. I'm thrilled with my furniture and very happy to have found Matthew.

Once item was received, you can immediately see the expertise that went in on this project. Measurements were perfect as requested. Everyone seeing this project has said you can tell its originality and have said it's gorgeous! We are very happy and pleased with finished project!

I am absolutely satisfied with my two sewing cabinets. They are truly works of art. The process worked so smoothly. I designed what I wanted and Buchanan Family Arts built the design to specifications. We communicated continually along the way. I received expert advice along the way on how to make the design more functional. It was a very complex project with many features that were intricate. It took longer than originally expected, however; I was fine with that because I rather have the product correctly made. I enjoyed the process and would recommend Buchanan Family Arts to other buyers.

Matthew & Jessica are experts at what they do and the desk they made for us is great!! The communication was fluid and easy, and although the project took longer than expected, they knocked off some of the price without us asking to. Thanks again for a great project.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Matthew, and BFA team, on a built-in bookcase unit for our home office. We couldn't be happier with the finished piece - it's truly a showstopper and the craftsmanship that went into it is evident. Matthew kept us in the loop throughout production and made the install totally pain free for us :-))) Now that our "library" is all put together we don't want to leave it - our office is now our favorite room in our home! We are very pleased with Matthew's work. All aspects of the project were well done. He exactly created what we were looking for. He even found handles that match our existing ones. The drawers are perfectly aligned and well constructed. They slide easily. Matthew communicated well with us during the construction and provided good pictures of the finished product prior to shipping. Even the shipper was pleasant and easy to work with. Last but not least, the price was also good. The next time we need custom woodwork, we will use Matthew.
