Maury's Mouldings is a very professional outfit. I was happy with his finish but the edge of the chess board playing surface was covered by the side moulding so I was a little disappointed. I should have been more specific and told him not to cover any of the playing surface with the side moulding but I never thought that would be an issue. I would like to use him again to build another chess board the same size only with a better border that does not infringe on the playing squares. I was very nice when I called to check on the progress and he was very professional and personable. Would he accept another job for me? He is an excellent wood worker.

Maurice hand-crafted the most beautiful bookcase I could have imagined, exactly to the specifications I had wanted. I needed something that could hold photo albums, so the shelves needed to be 15" tall and deep. Could not find anything for months, until I found this website and Maurice. He got the specs just as we had discussed, and the quality of the workmanship is outstanding. He was very professional throughout the construction, and even sent me photos of the progress along the way, which was not required but I found very courteous and made me even more excited to see the project at completion. The finished work was exactly what I wanted. And he saved me tons of time and money by offering delivery service. He delivered exactly as promised, all at a very reasonable price. Maurice is an honest, hard-working person and a great craftsman and I would recommend him for any project. Thank you Maurice! Now my home is complete. It was a pleasure doing business together.

Shipping Policy
Area served: We are located in the Northern Shenandoah Valley but would sell anywhere in continental US with Internet Orders and buyer paid shipping. Shipping Methods: Shipping and Handling are charged at actual cost basis using the most appropriate and efficient mode for the product and based on buyers desires. Shipping must be prearranged at time of order. I will consider delivering personally depending upon proximity to my shop
Maker Policy
Custom work is non-refundable and once in-progress, custom projects cannot be cancelled. If you need an item by a specific date or for a specific event, please let me know in advance of accepting a proposal. I take great pride in my work. If you buy something and want to change the design or specifications and those changes do not materially affect the cost, I guarantee that I will work with you to adjust the design free of charge.
