Maker Policies
Shipping Policy
Based in Grand Rapids, MI, re.dwell currently ships to the continental U.S. and Canada via FedEx ground or freight depending on the project. We will can also personally deliver and install larger projects when requested. Some larger projects may require special delivery, assembly, or installation by the re.dwell team. Some states, municipalities, or even buildings have regulations regarding delivery and installation which may require additional sub-contractors. This will be reflected in the shipping cost.
Maker Policy
At re.dwell we strive to build each unique piece to last a lifetime and beyond. We guarantee all craftsmanship and finishes for (1) one year. If there is issue within the first year please document it with photos, contact us, and we will do our best to repair, replace, or refund the item. Any issues beyond a year please still let us know and we will do our best to help resolve them. All our wood is checked for moisture content and is kiln dried before be use to bring it down to a level suitable for furniture (it also kills the bugs) but the nature of working with reclaimed materials is they can be unpredictable sometimes. Different woods react differently to different environments. The natural state of wood in a house in West Michigan maybe different than Arizona or Florida. This may result in some movement of the wood; checking, splitting, warping, twisting, or cupping. If this movement becomes undesirable please contact us and we will see what we can do to resolve it. If you wish to cancel a custom order we need at least a seven (10) day notice before its earliest listed ship date. If you are unhappy with an item within 30 days please feel free to return for a refund. Customers are responsible for return shipping. There are no refunds on customer supplied dimensions if a piece does not fit in a space for its intended use. We can come and personally measure local projects free of charge. Large projects like reception desks and conference tables may require a team member to come verify dimensions and route of delivery into the space which may affect how the piece is designed. Any requests for travel will be reflected in the shipping cost.
