I provide a full range of high end custom made furniture and specialty items for the home and garden.
Delivery Schedule
Based upon present backlogs, the delivery schedule will be extended on custom made pieces. Items in stock can also have an extended time period for shipment.
My Craftsmanship Promise
Each piece is hand made and individualized to meet each customers’ needs and requirements. I maintain close communications with each customer on the status including pictures as the piece is assembled and finished.
Any changes or improvements to the the piece are reviewed and approved prior to implementing each change.
My products include, but not restricted to desks, tables, bookcases, benches, shelves, room dividers, cabinets and accent pieces in a wide variety of woods and finishes.

Rick was A+++ in his communication and customer service; a true professional. I had a custom job request and even after approval of his drawing, he re-worked one small item to add stability to the book shelf (of which I never would have noticed nor thought-of, plus I already signed off on it - how often does that happen in life?!). He clearly cares about his work and shows judgment of a true professional. He sent me 4 samples of the stains to ensure I liked the color of the piece; he sent pictures throughout the process, at each step and I know I will love the piece after I open it. I haven't had a chance to open/inspect the final product due to work on my house but I would definitely work with him again (and will update my review after my house isn't torn apart).

Great experience! Mr. Ricks is an adept artisan with a passion for his craft. He kept me updated throughout and was patient and gracious in his handling of last minute design adjustments. While this project may not have been as challenging as other examples of his work that I have seen, it was executed to perfection. Invisible joins, matched grains, precision detailing, and a deep, rich, hand-rubbed finish all add up to a one-of-a-kind, highly practical, and very beautiful piece of art. For Custom Mr2 Solid Cherry Shadowbox Bookcase
My wife and I searched hard for a "Shadowbox Bookcase" for our living room. All we found were particle board monstrosities, or overpriced manufactured hollow versions. We wanted something in solid hardwood, preferably cherry. Rick provided this. His quote was reasonable, his design was exactly what we requested, and his communication was outstanding. He started and completed the project on schedule. Delivery was timely. There was a small glitch in the delivery, and Rick apologized profusely for this, but it was totally out of his control, and I believe him when he says that it had never happened before with this shipper. We managed to take delivery of the item, which was exceedingly well wrapped and protected. We are proud to have a custom piece of Rick Ricks craftsmanship in our living room.

Shipping Policy
Shipping and Insurance: There are basically three types of shipping categories available thru mr² Woodworking. 1. Small Packages; 2. Large Cartons up to 30" H x 47" W x 81" L and less than 100 pounds; 3. Extra-Large Cartons exceeding 30" H x 47" W x 81" L and 100 pounds . This is normally provided on custom orders and is not a category included in the website listings. The standard shipping quoted is USPS Parcel Select Residential Delivery on Small Packages; Greyhound Standard Package Express Drop Shipment on Large Cartons (Except when noted) and FedEx Ground Drop Shipment only on Extra-Large Cartons. Greyhound Residential Delivery is also available for an additional cost. Please contact us with your street address and zip code for calculating the added cost. Shipping costs are estimated for the West Coast delivery and may be subject to a refund if the actual is less than the estimated costs. The refund is applied at the time of shipment. FedEx drop shipment is only available at this time. The estimated additional costs for Priority Mail, Greyhound Residential Delivery and FedEx Drop Shipment are to be billed/paid at the time of purchase and may also be subject to a refund at the time of shipment. The customer is also welcome to provide a shipper at there own expense that would be deducted on those items that do not have “Free Shipping”. Insurance is covered on those items as defined in the product description. Usually all large, custom items that require special handling are covered by insurance for damage or complete replacement which ever is appropriate. We do not ship Internationally unless the buyer directly contacts mr2 Woodworking and appropriate taxes, shipping costs, export and import duties have been included.

Cancellations and Returns: Returns: Any returns are subject to a 5-day deadline from customer receipt of goods. The customer is responsible for the return shipping unless the item has been damaged. Instructions, procedures and refunds for returns associated with damages will be provided at that time and are specific to that order. Cancellations: Cancellations made prior to the manufacture or shipment of the product should not be subject to any cancellation fees. Cancellations made after the product has been shipped or manufacture has been initiated, may be subject to cancellation fees or shipping costs. mr2 Woodworking will normally provide the customer with an estimated ship date when the order has been received. Custom Item Exception: Custom item orders are not subject to the same refund policy as stated above on standard crafts. The custom item is defined as a piece which is specifically designed for that custom to a define set of specifications. mr2 Woodworking strives to insure that all custom items will meet the customer’s requirements prior to shipment. Status, information, change specification requests and pictures are provided on a continuing basis thru the manufacturing process to insure that the piece or pieces are accepted prior to shipment. Return of custom items should only occur if damage and insurance claims occur.
