Enkle Designs is a small company located in Apex, North Carolina. We specialize in the design and construction of handmade furniture and home accessories. Our pieces are inspired by the simplicity and beauty of Scandinavian design from both the mid-century and modern eras. We have a passion for simple yet thoughtful designs that bring function into the home.
Our skilled master craftsmen construct all of our designs by hand, using traditional and modern techniques to provide pieces of top quality. Our materials are sourced from local businesses who value sustainability. We also create custom design pieces for customers who want something very specific in their home.

Maker Policies
Shipping Policy
We only do work for people we can personally deliver to. We have dealt with shipping companies in the past and have not been impressed with the rate of successful delivery. We hate to see waste and damage to furniture by big shipping companies. Therefore, we deliver all of our furniture by hand and will even help you assemble or place your furniture once it is in the house. Due to the limitations of how long we can be gone and the expenses involved, we currently only deliver to the lower 48 United States and some Canadian cities. The cost varies greatly depending on how far we have to drive.
Maker Policy
We have a contract that customers sign when they decide to have us build a piece. The contract simply states that the customer will pay any remaining costs for the furniture upon delivery and the furniture must match the designs agreed upon by Enkle Designs and the customer. There are no returns or exchanges other than for damage upon delivery and any deposits remain with Enkle Designs.
