Grain Designs, LLC

Grain Designs is a Fargo, North Dakota company that creates hand-made furniture and home goods made primarily from reclaimed materials. We offer unique designs and quality craftsmanship for products of all kinds; some of our more frequent products include custom dining tables, conference tables, coffee tables, barn doors, corporate office furniture as well as home décor. All products are built using local and reclaimed woods as well as other salvaged materials. Unique designs and the use of reclaimed materials that are full of character allow Grain Designs to create one-of-a-kind pieces.

Established in 2013, Grain Designs was founded by a pair of North Dakota State University Architecture graduates, Blain Mikkonen and Grant Koenig. Philip Bruckbauer and Patrick Bresnahan are the other two vital GD team members.

We have combined our diverse skills to create specialized custom designs and a unique customer experience. The services we offer aren’t limited by a compiled list. Instead, our goal is to create a unique design/build experience in which we design collaboratively with the clients to create custom pieces as they envisioned them, unrestricted by the market’s availability.
