Totally Blown Glassworks opened it's doors in 1997. Built by Dehanna Jones, it is located in the heart of Georgetown on the corner of Airport Way S and Corson Ave S. in Seattle, WA. All of my work is created here, in house.
A native of Seattle, Washington and daughter of an Auctioneer, Dehanna was surrounded by the art glass of her father’s Tiffany collection and Antique store. This early exposure to the Art Noveau movement has had a lasting influence on her work. While studying for a BFA in ceramics and a BA in general art at the University of Washington, she decided to branch out and study blown glass at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, Washington. While at Pratt, she was the hot shop coordinator and studio technician while also teaching cast and blown glass. Although blown glass is the focus of her own designs, she has kept her hands in casting by working with many architects, designers, and artists as a consultant and fabricator of glass elements for larger installations.

Information
We'll do our best ship your item within approximately 4-5 business days. Please note, during the holidays, and during the summer months there may be more of a lag-time getting your packages out, as we are often traveling and have a large volume of orders. Orders placed after 4pm PST may take an extra day to leave our facilities, considering our business hours and those of our local postal facility. Usually we ship on Wednesday's, excluding major holidays (and New Year's Eve). We realize shipping becomes rather costly after the first few items, and in certain cases we may refund a portion of the shipping fees for larger orders (shipments of 4 or more). However, your shipping cost includes handling as well as packing materials. Please contact us with any questions or concerns regarding shipping costs. Unfortunately at this time, we don't ship outside the US. PLEASE NOTE: Should you require expedited shipping, or if your item is a gift please add that to the notes at the time of order, so that we are able to process your items on-time. This is especially relevant around holidays where postal services may be slow. We are not responsible for items that do not arrive within a set time frame, if there was no notification from the buyer that the items needed to be expedited. Payment must be made in full for us to ship your item. That includes any extra fees for shipping. We will not ship unless your item is paid in full. We generally ship USPS First Class or Parcel Post for all items (delivery time is between 5-9 days, after the item leaves our facility). We're willing to ship items priority if you let us know at the time of order. Customers are responsible for any additional shipping costs incurred for expedited shipments or shipments placed with shipping companies other than USPS. Our shipping charges include insurance and Signature Confirmation so we know you've received your items, boxes and packing materials as necessary. We have a standard weight for each item so shipping costs are calculated based on that weight; we take all our items to the post to have them weighed on shipment. If you're dissatisfied with our shipping costs, or would like to request a cheaper method of shipping please let us know. We'd be happy to work towards a mutually agreeable resolution. We try to group items into as few shipments as we can. We reuse/recycle as much of our shipping materials as possible and we look for the most environmentally and economically friendly way to ship. Ornaments are wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap (so as not to break the stems) before shipping.
We do not accept returns or exchanges via custom made - we do our best to document the glass we have on hand. If you are in the Seattle area, you can come down to the hot shop and exchange UN-USED pieces only. Custom made buyers are responsible for postage on Returns or Exchanges. Exchanges must be made within the year etched on the item. If your item doesn't have a year etching, your purchase date will suffice. Please be aware that every piece is hand-blown glass and subject to differences in color and minor impurities. We attempt to ship only the best of what we have to offer. We don't offer seconds on Etsy. Totally Blown Glassworks strives for perfection, but tool marks, small bubbles, color variations and striations are all indicative of handblown glass. Because of the handcraft process, there may be slight variations in size, shape and weight.
