This was my first custom project. I interviewed by email 6 different wood furniture makers. It was immediately apparent to me that Doug was my choice. His communication and follow-up (we used text & email) was first-rate. He sent me progress photos all along the way. I gave 4 stars on value as that is subjective. The project came in on time, and exceeded expectations. I’m sitting at the bar next to my wife as I review the stool underneath me. Fantastic. Deborah’s chair is two inches taller than mine and she sits comfortably at the bar and I can look into her beautiful eyes. Something an off the shelf bar stool would not allow. I’m a big boy and Doug went out of his way to reinforce the joints, the support for the leather and they are strong, beautiful and comfortable. We will be commissioning more projects in the future. Did I mention the packing? Bullet proof. Got here well labeled and safe. First class all the way. I would recommend Doug without reservation.

Shipping Policy
I'm happy to ship within the continental United States or Canada. I have used USPS, UPS, or Ground Shipping Services to deliver. The best delivery method depends on a number of factors like the destination and the size of the piece you purchase. I'm happy to work with you to decide what makes the most sense.

Because satisfied customers are my reputation, I want happy customers! If you are not happy with a purchase, please let me know. My strong preference is always to listen to you and then to work to resolve your concerns informally. Formally, I follow the same return policy as Amazon’s A-to-z Guarantee. All pieces sold from are eligible for return and replacement if they arrive damaged or broken or are “materially different” than represented. See Amazon’s page for a detailed description. Commissions or custom designs are excluded from the above policy. Refunds may be allowed if work has not yet started and/or materials have not been purchased. If for any reason you are unhappy with a finished commission or custom design, I will make a reasonable effort to help you resell it but custom work is not eligible for return or refund.
