When considering a commission for work, please provide clear instruction and details for your project. We provide one initial proof of concept free of charge based on customer input for all sign commissions..
Customer's proof will be posted for approval via email. We offer one revision of initial proof free of charge and will attach revision to a proposal.
In the event additional revisions are required, additional proofs are available upon acceptance of proposal. Custom commissions are subject to cost increases incurred by customer when a complete redesign is required.
Cost increases will be resubmitted as an amendment to original proposal. No work may commence until customer accepts amended proposal.
Commissioned works cannot be returned or refunded. Customer is responsible for supplying correct spelling of personal names, dates of interest, general information, special quotes or sayings applied to signs and wall art.
Blue Shed Mayhem and its representatives are not responsible for items damaged, mishandled, or lost during shipping. Please provide correct delivery address when placing order.

Shipping Policy
Deliveries within 100 miles of our location are negotiable. We ship to the lower 48, Alaska and Hawaii. FedEx, UPS and USPS are our main carriers. Unless customer requests a specific carrier, Crafty Xtremes reserves the right to choose the carrier to a specific region.
Maker Policy
Commissioned work less than $300 requires 100% payment prior to project start. Commissioned work greater than $300 and less than $2000 requires a 66% retention fee prior to project start with balance due upon completion. Commissioned work greater than $2000 requires a 50% retention fee prior to project start with balance due upon completion. We make every attempt to complete projects according to customer specifications. We use reclaimed materials in the making of our signs. If this use does not suit you, please specify. Wood is like snow flakes, no two pieces are alike. Grains vary from one wood type to another. Additionally, color, tonal quality, knots, imperfections and the like will vary in different wood types and species as well. If this does not suit you, please consider other options. Customer is responsible for communicating concise instructions for custom project guidelines. Any omissions by customer are at customer's expense. All items are custom made, and we will not accept returns. If we cannot resell the item, the item is of no use to us. We will not refund monies because of buyer remorse. It happens to all of us, and you the customer must accept your decision to purchase. We typically create a proof of concept for signs we propose to create. Our proofs are digitally generated on a digital image of a sign blank from our library of sign blank samples that best represents the sign blank that we would build for your sign and are only used as a visual reference, so you the customer may have a better sense of what the final product may look like. When we create your sign, the actual sign blank may vary in wood features, color, tonal quality and the like. Color varies on hand held devices and monitors. While we make every attempt to visually display your sign at completion, we cannot control how the finished piece will appear on your device. We are not professional photographers and will not guarantee color and quality of any image. Raw, unfinished wood is used for our visual representation of most sign blanks used for proofs. We apply clear protective finishes to all our signs, so finished product may appear darker in tone than the proof as the clear coat will enhance and deepen the color(s) of the wood and subsequent finishes. We typically provide one proof of concept at introduction when we feel we have adequate information for providing a proof. Additional proofs or alterations are subject to additional fees. Putting proofs together takes time. Please consider that time is money, and we cannot allow the service to be abused.
