About Me:
My name is Rachel Porter and I am from San Diego, California. I have my B.S. in Geology from UC Davis, some graduate school experience in Paleontology from Florida State University, and a master's certificate in Science Illustration from CSU Monterey Bay. So my education is quite varied and so are my passions.
Until recently I worked at a screen print shop in North County San Diego, where I created digital illustrations for glass and ceramic ware. It was there that I discovered my love for digitally drawing animals. When I'm not drawing, I am listening to a ridiculous amount of podcasts, playing tennis, or traveling with my new hubby to whatever new foreign place we haven't yet explored.
About My Work:
I create custom, digital pet portraits and wildlife illustrations. Using a Wacom tablet and Adobe Photoshop, I use your favorite pet photo to hand-draw a beautiful custom portrait of your much-loved pet. Each portrait takes me between 6 to 12 hours to illustration. They are extremely detailed and much love is poured into each piece. I hope you enjoy the art as much as I enjoy creating it.

Shipping Policy
I ship throughout the US using USPS. Each of my portraits are packaged using a foam core mounting board, and a plastic sleeve for protection. I then use cardboard to stiffen the package and prevent bending.

I gladly accept cancellations within 24 hours of purchase. I do NOT accept returns or exchanges because of the custom nature of the projects, but please contact me with any questions or concerns. I am happy to make minor changes to the art until you are completely satisfied.
