Elk Forest Lodge Tables

Elk Forest Lodge Tables opened it's doors in January of 2017. The idea of Burled Redwood coffee tables with full size uncut elk antlers for support came from Bob Fidel,( co owner of Elk Forest Lodge Tables), many years ago, but could not find a person who could see his idea, until he met a craftsman by the name of Rocky Thaut. Together they put the idea together and came up with a plan to build these tables.

These tables are custom made with Burled Redwood slabs sliced from old growth Redwood stumps that could be as much as 200 years old. Each piece is unique in it's own way from the natural design of the live edge slab to the grain of the wood and the different red colors naturally built into the wood itself. No two pieces will ever be the same, therefore, each table will be "one of a kind."

For support, we use uncut, all natural, authentic elk antler sheds that are picked up in the spring after the elk have shed their antlers. To our knowledge, no elk have been harmed to harvest the antlers. These elk sheds provide the necessary support and add to the uniqueness of each table.

Add the two natural pieces together and you have a fully functional table that is also a conversation piece and work of art.
