A Charlton-based carpenter/woodworker, Michael Schnitzler, has been honing his skills in design and building one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture for clients, from Connecticut to Minnesota.
Originally from a small rural community in western New York, Michael got his start working in the sawmills and lumber yards while still a teenager. After high school, Michael naturally gravitated toward the building phase of carpentry and apprenticed with one of the finest builders in western New York. It was while employed as an apprentice that he would gain his foundation in carpentry and learn all phases of construction from framing to finish carpentry.
Michael took his never ending passion for woodworking and carpentry and created his own company, Two Dogs Joinery. Starting with a basic adirondack chair design, Two Dogs Joinery has continued to evolve into Michael’s vision of making one-of-a-kind furniture, outdoor living pieces, or renovating a historic home.

Shipping Policy
We ship anywhere in the continental United States and Canada. If within driving distance we can personally deliver your piece.
Maker Policy
All orders are subject to a 25% restocking fee if an order is canceled. All sales are final after delivery. Custom orders are not refundable. Shipping costs are tough to estimate but we will be upfront about any costs.
