fix is a collaborative design studio combining many disciplines to create well-bred, useful, heirloom objects and spaces.
fix studio was started in 1998 in Portland, Oregon by Chris Bleiler and Jennifer Jako. Bleiler restored Victorians, designed at an arts magazine, and built props. Jako studied sculpture, made a documentary film, and is a documentary photographer. Together they decided to tell stories through spaces and objects.
We offer metal and wood fabrication in house and collaborate with other makers whenever other materials are used.
Our early work included found objects from estates, salvage yards and dumpster dives reinterpreted into new designs. After hundreds of custom commissions, fix studio is ready to make anything you can imagine become a reality.

Shipping Policy
Area served: Worldwide. Shipping Methods: Shipping to be coordinated at time of custom order. We can ship anywhere.
Installation Policy
We are available to install world-wide as well.
Maker Policy
Custom orders, once commenced will incur time & materials based fees, if cancelled. Some orders may not be eligible for refund based on how far fabrication has progressed. Delivered projects are not returnable.
