The end table we ordered is beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. Communication was prompt when we ordered it, and Kevin customized the size. He gave us a clear timeline of when to expect it, and kept us updated and sent pictures along the way. It arrived yesterday well packaged, and it is perfect! Kevin was a true pleasure to work with. He kept us updated on the progress and sent pictures as well. He even took time to send me some samples of walnut wood with different stains so we could see and select the right one. We really appreciated the extra time and effort he took to make sure the table was perfect.

I was looking for a walnut footstool to go with my rocker and found a beauty made by Kevin at Wood In Motion. I contacted him when I saw the picture of his work. He responded with the news he had a walnut footstool in stock and could ship it within days. It arrived well packaged and safe. I couldn't wait to get it home to try it out. I custom ordered this table to a specific smaller size and done in mahogany. Kevin and Jim did a beautiful job - it is lovey and perfect for my space. They were wonderful about keeping me informed on their progress all the way through the process with pictures and comments. I drove to their shop to pick it up and they kindly loaded it in my car and gave me a tour of their shop. They were absolutely great to work with. I highly recommend them. I also saw the Maloof rocking chair they make - gorgeous!

The piece is beautiful and very well-made; it was done exactly to our requested specs and we are very happy with the final product. Kevin was very communicative, kept us updated on the status, and completed the project on schedule. We would definitely recommend Kevin to others and work with him again. The only issue we had was a small one with the shipping company; it was supposed to call to schedule a delivery day/time, but instead just showed up at our house with the piece. It wasn't a big deal since we happened to be at home anyway, but it could have been an issue if we weren't at home (and we didn't know to expect them). Overall though, our experience was great; we love the table and highly recommend this maker.

This is the most beautiful rocking chair I've ever owned! The work is exceptional, it is even more beautiful than the pictures! The finish is oiled and so very smooth, plus it fits me perfectly as Kevin had told me it would. Have no doubts in ordering from this master woodworker. He delivers what he promises. Crate & Freight did a marvelous job packing the chair to insure it would get to me without a scratch. My hat is off to you! Now the shipping is a different matter. It shipped via SAIA. Don't ever consider them as a shipper. My chair arrived at a terminal 1 1/2 hr. drive from my residence on Thursday at 8 AM. It was finally delivered to me on the following Tuesday at 4:30 PM. after a raft of texts, emails and phone calls. Unacceptable. I've put SAIA on my blacklist and you should too.
