I had 10 chairs made by Michael Barnhill (d/b/a Bungalow White Oak Furniture). I am in the process of returning each. The issues are too extensive to described in this comment section. Very bad experience.

Fantastic, well made chest of drawers. I will pass this on to my children. Absolutely beautiful.

Michael Barnhill is THE craftsman you want working on your one of a kind furniture project! The epitome' of professionalism and careful, time honored craftsmanship, Michael delivered a true masterpiece when he delivered my reclaimed 100 year old pine industrial desk built to my exact specifications. Michael was quick to over communicate on every aspect of the project, deliver, and even helped install the desk in a very difficult to access office space. AWESOME job Michael all the way around! I cannot say enough great things about my modern/industrial-inspired executive desk and the ease by which it took to get there. Michael is an absolute dream to work with; great communication skills, superior carpentry skills, good sense of style etc. I would not hesitate to have him build something else and would highly recommend him.

Michael is not only professional and an expert craftsman but is also easy to work with and very creative. We couldn't be happier with our gorgeous mahogany pub table. It fits perfectly in our room and is very high quality. It is the perfect centerpiece/showpiece. We highly recommend Michael and will absolutely contact him the next time we need high quality, hand-crafted furniture.

This project was a collaboration based on several pieces I liked, but lacked the features I wanted. We were able to come up with a design that is stunning. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in his suggestions to help create this perfect piece. It is a very well built piece that I believe will last for a lifetime (perhaps several). He was able to keep me well informed about the progress of the project with frequent picture updates. I have absolutely no regrets about choosing this maker. He is highly recommended and I will strongly consider using him again for any new items.

Michael was great to work with! He communicated regularly and updated our project status with multiple pictures. The workmanship and craftsmanship exceeded or expectations. We will definitely use Michael again. He personally delivered our tables personally over 600 miles from his shop. His freight cost(s) were more than reasonable and it was very nice to personally meet the person who made our heirloom quality furniture. Michael has extensive experience and his talent and workmanship definitely show in the finished product! Happy Family in Houston!!

We could not be more happier with our new vanity. Mike meet all the detail specifications (ten feet long, doors align with wall mounted faucets, vertically stacked side drawers, etc.) and the quality of work was top notch.. Everything that I asked for, Mike made it come to life. His communication and timeliness are top-notch. I'd alway hear back within a day. He used really nice hardware. From sturdy drawer slides that pulled all the way out to handles that went perfectly with the look of the desk. When I made design changes part way through the project, Mike was really flexible and reinforced the fact that he felt one should get exactly what they want on site called custommade.com. When you see details like the dovetailed drawers, you know that Mike is a real craftsman that loves his work. My desk is built to last and will get passed down for generations to come.

I was very satisfied with my project... Michael was informative, knowledgeable and helpful... I give him the highest ratings... I know he encountered a serious personal problem that delayed the project and I was very understanding of this, life happens, but he always kept me informed and followed through with excellence.

LOVE MY CHAIRS!!! Mike was great. I had two projects pending because I added another set of chairs half way through it and Mike was more than happy to change my original order. He was wonderful to work with and his communication is fast and friendly. I highly recommend him and will use him again in the future if I need anything else crafted. I LOVE the chairs he made for me!!!

I am completely in-loved with the chairs Mike has made for me. The four chairs are an unusual design and I was not sure he could pull it off, but he DID!!!! They are beautiful and just what I wanted. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience working with Michael. This was my first time commissioning a project on Custom-Made and it was a rather large order; seven 7' black walnut benches to be used in a youth room at church. I wasn't certain of the exact design, but had a couple "inspiration photos" that he used to come up with a beautiful design. He submitted a proposal quickly and walked me through the building process. We made a couple of changes along the way and he was more than accommodating. Upon completion, he drove six hours to hand deliver his beautiful workmanship. These benches will serve our needs for years to come. I highly recommend Bungalow White Oak Furniture to anyone thinking of having a custom made piece of furniture.

Michael did a fantastic job matching the existing furniture I sent him pictures of . Everything was perfect . Dimensions, color , quality were all exactly what I wanted . We communicated during the process and he was always attentive and professional. He was very concerned that I was satisfied with the finished product and I am !

Mike understood my needs for a simple style for my table and the fact that it had to be easily accessible from two sides, as it was going into a double banquette. He also understood that it wasn't a "centerpiece" item like a dining room table, so I didn't want to spend tons of money on it. The communication was great, with pictures and message updates as each phase of the table was finished. When the table arrived, it was packed very thoroughly. It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen. Many thanks.

I am thrilled with our custom made farm table. It is absolutely the way I envisioned it!! I loved getting the updates along the way! And because he is semi local to me, Mike delivered it to us personally. Definitely a plus! I have several 'wants' on my list and won't hesitate to contact Mike in the future.

Mike is one of those craftsman and all around good guy that restore my faith in people. From the first time we communicated until I received the beautiful, custom tables he communicated with me regularly. He was professional, timely and most of all honest. The solid teak tables he crafted for me will be in my family for many generations and I will definitely use his expertise again. He also will be receiving referrals from me since everyone that enters my home makes a comment about the unique tables he built. My thanks go to Bungalow White Oak Furniture for a great experience! We are so pleased with our custom made maple highchair made by Bungalow Furniture. Mike is extremely professional and communication couldn’t be better! I received his initial quote within 24 hours. He continued to update me with progress on a regular basis including pictures! One concern I had was how my highchair would survive the shipping.
